On March 28, 2021, 50-year-old gulbasiya, a resident of village hardibahra under balangi chowki in Balrampur district, went to the weekly market. Following the disclosure of the case, the police had registered the offence under Sections 302 and 120B and arrested the accused and submitted the chargesheet before the court.  The court recorded the witnesses ‘ statements. On April 17, sessions judge Sirajuddin Qureshi of the Ramanujganj court acquitted the accused on the grounds of gross negligence in deliberation by discerning Sub-Inspector Amit Gupta. The judge also directed the superintendent of police Balrampur-Ramanujganj to investigate and take action against the accused.
