Forestry scientists had also discovered its properties after planting the plant in the mine area. In which it was revealed that Ganga tamarind trees not only make the wasteland fertile but also help in stabilizing the land. It was an extremely important success.

Vitamin C and immunity boosting properties are found . Research has also found its fruit to contain anti-oxidants. Consumption will prevent the growing cells of cancer. Diabetes also has effective control over type-two. Its fruit can be consumed to strengthen the digestive system.

Now in planting

The name of Ganga tamarind may not be associated with the freshly prepared van Sampada Yojana, but after the revelations in the research, its plants will soon start appearing in the forest department and private sector nurseries as this species does not seek much care. Only in rainwater can it survive all year round.
